Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want people to be able to use this website whether they browse with a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, magnification, or other assistive technology. That includes patients, visitors, and staff booking or reading about treatments.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA includes WCAG 2.1 AA, which is the technical standard referenced by the EU Web Accessibility Directive and the European Accessibility Act.

Conformance status

Partially conformant. Some parts of the site meet WCAG 2.2 AA; some do not yet. We have not published a full independent audit. This statement is based on internal reviews of key templates (home, contact, booking, treatment pages) and automated checks.

We will update this page when we complete a fuller review or fix a listed issue.

Latest automated score

On 18 August 2026 we ran an automated scan of key public pages using Playwright and axe-core. The scan checks many WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules. It is not a full WCAG certificate and does not replace keyboard or screen-reader testing.

All scanned pages met the minimum score of 80. The lowest automated score was 100 out of 100. This scan found no automated violations on those pages. It still does not replace keyboard or screen-reader testing.

What we do on this site

• Page titles and a single main heading on template pages
• Keyboard-focus styles on links, buttons, and form fields
• Form labels, error messages, and a required privacy-consent checkbox on contact and booking forms
• Text alternatives on images, including labels where images are AI-generated
• Semantic headings, lists, and tables on legal pages
• A skip-to-content target on the main landmark of this page

Known limitations

We know these areas can still cause problems:

• Older images and PDFs may have weak or missing text alternatives, or may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
• Third-party content (embedded video, maps, social feeds, fonts, or spam-protection widgets such as Turnstile or reCAPTCHA) is not fully under our control.
• The appointment calendar is a custom control. It is designed to work with keyboard and screen readers, but we welcome reports if a step is unclear.
• Colour and motion on some marketing layouts may not suit everyone. If a page is hard to read, contact us and we can send the information another way.
