Important breakthrough in Covid19 Research at The Laser Centre

Mr Paddy Leahy, Chief of Surgery, at The Laser Centre has developed the world's first Isobaric (gasless) laparoscopic surgery device and method. This was invented and patented in USA and Europe by Mr Leahy https://www.linkedin.com/in/patrick-leahy-9aa3ba50/. Pneumoperitoneum concentrates the Covid-19 virus, release of which is highly dangerous to patients, nurses and surgeons. This invention prevents Covid-19 complications in surgery and makes surgery safer and reduces the complication rate significantly.

The Laser Centre was established in Ireland in 1994. The Goal of the Laser Centre is to promote Minimally Invasive Surgery and Health Care using the most sophisticated technologies and highly trained medical personnel.
