What is CryoTherapy?
CryoTherapy is the process of utilizing extreme cold temperatures to naturally stimulate blood circulation, the body’s hormone, immune and nervous systems. Using a 3 chamber CryoTherapy system, the temperatures range from -10ºC in the 1st chamber, to -60ºC in the 2nd chamber to finally reaching -110ºC in the 3rd chamber. The patient, wearing a bathing suit and protective gloves, socks and face mask, simply steps through the chambers as directed by the CryoTherapist. The session takes approximately 3-4 minutes. The patient is constantly monitored by a built-in visual and audio system, and can request to leave the chamber at any time. Upon completing the session there is an overwhelming feeling of well being.
